Bug Displaying Bancor Balance related to vBNT
complete
Vicky Saint Elmo
I have multiple addresses with Bancor pool positions. I see an error with one address that has a vBNT pool position (vBNT staked in a pool). This position is not shown (which is kind of expected). However, having this position prevents zapper from showing any other BNT pool positions I have with that same address. This was not alway the case. This just started happening within the last 3-4 days.

This is now fixed!
Thank you for reporting.

Fatima K.: Hi Fatima, while the vBNT token is now displayed in the wallet section, it is not accounting for all the other issues and mechanics mentioned in this case and all other merged cases. Will Zapper be looking into these?

Another issue is, if you have a position in pool A and decide to re-stake rewards into the same pool Zapper does not track the updated staking amount. it keeps tracking only the amount of the first position open for that pool

Add vBNT to dashboard
hegedis.andor
it should show as follow:
Check how many bnt is staked on bancor
If BNT staked == vBNT then it should not appear in the Assets list
if BNT < vBNT is at the address than the (vBNT-BNT) should be listed as the vBNT asset held in the address.
Why? because it wont dilute the portfolio net value. And if someone bought vBNT on top of their staked BNT than it should be added to the portfolio value.
if bnt > vbnt then vbnt should not show up in the assets list

Bancor Bug Related to vBNT pool.

If an ethereum address has a position in the vBNT/BNT pool (on Bancor), this prevents zapper from finding any other positions in any bancor pools associated with the same ethereum address. You could be in 5 positions on Bancor with over 2 million USD pooled, but Zapper.fi will not find any balance if one of those pools is vBNT. vBNT is a unique pool, so it's should either be excluded or left undefined, but it shouldn't affect Zapper.fi's ability to display other positions in Bancor correctly.
You can use this address as reference: 0xee2c88ae416f66ff2dfa25446d3ca70582fa99f7
This address has 7 Bancor Positions, but because one of the positions is in the vBNT/BNT pool, none of the positions show on Zapper.fi

Bancor Liquidity providers receive vBNT once they stake their BNT in one of the liquidity pools. The vBNT token represents ownership of your tokens in the pool, however, you can also use that vBNT as a "Credit line". this would allow you to sell your vBNT without loosing the ownership of your position in the pool.
vBNT also has it's own value which means that it can be freely traded in exchanges and anyone can decide to buy vBNT as an asset if they wanted to (think of it as buying someone's debt)
Here is an example:
Alice has 1000 BNT, she stakes the 1000BNT and receives back 1000 vBNT. Alice then sees a good trading opportunity but she doesn't have enough capital but she has a 1000 vBNT. She decides to sell her vBNT in exchange for X Token while still keeping her position in the pool.
Bob who bought the 1000 vBNT from Alice has no position in a Bancor pool, however, he now holds 1000 vBNT. This is currently not tracked by Zapper.
Another scenario would be when Bob has a position in Bancor and holds 500vBNT. After buying Alice's 1000 vBNT now he has 1500 vBNT. In this scenario, perhaps it's not important to track the first 500 vBNT as part of your assets but instead Zapper could track the difference between the BNT staked and the vBNT in the wallet, thus displaying only the additional 1000 vBNT not tied to a Bancor position.
Obviously Zapper can decide the best way to track it but I wanted to show how the mechanics work as it would give better ideas on how to display or calculate the vBNT owned
